The Red Earth Festival is an amazing day trip for the whole family! The traditional native dances are beautiful! The Fancy Dancers were my favorite! Definitely the most colorful! On the other side of the convention center were jewelry makers, artists, and musicians! There was so much to do and see!

When we arrived in Seminole, we had to stop by Bosco Joe's for lunch. Everyone told us we had to go there! We were DEFINITELY not disappointed! My husband and I were immediately greeted by the staff who were all so warm and friendly!

Yukon's Freedom Fest is a super child / family friendly 4th of July party! There was everything to a rock climbing wall, a slip and slide, potato sack races, as well as pony rides! There was live music, food trucks and my favorite part was the BBQ contest! I was lucky enough to sample some of it before the contest! It was amazing! The fireworks display was SPECTACULAR!! It was a wonderful day!

McLoud, Oklahoma was everything one would imagine a small town to be! The people of McLoud couldn't have been more friendly! My husband Sean and I went for the Blackberry Festival and had an amazing time!

Christmas lights in Oklahoma City! Christmas is my favorite time of year! I love to play Christmas music and drive around finding the most beautiful Christmas lights in the city! I hope you enjoy the video!

If you're not an elite athlete but want to be part of the triathlon,  volunteer! It takes hundreds of volunteers to put this on! If you can't volunteer, then be a spectator! Cheer these men and women on! Their enthusiasm is contagious!

The Chesapeake Boathouse hosts The Regatta every year. It's a beautiful weekend event for the whole family. This year, it was so nice I didn't know whether to have just a picnic or actually watch the boat races. This event is so unique, there is nothing like it in the Central US!

St. Eugene's Catholic Church, in The Village, hosts this event every year. If you like traditional foods, music, and dancing from countries around the world, then you will love this festival!

Definitely bring the kids out for this adventure! Be sure to pack a snack or a picnic lunch and don't forget your bag of dog food to feed the catfish and the turtles!

This week I went to Saint George's Greek Orthodox Church at 145th and May Ave. in OKC for the Greek Festival. I've been to this festival every year for the past 8 years. The food is always absolutely amazing! Don't forget the baklava! It's the best i've ever had!

The Global Oklahoma Festival takes place at Rose State College in Midwest City. I've never been here before and had an absolute blast! There are lots of booths from all over the world. If you like great food, music, and lots of culture, this is the place for you!

Oktoberfest in Choctaw, Oklahoma is the biggest event in Choctaw! It's a great place to have some German beer, a bratwurst, and a schnitzel! It's only $5.00 to get in and there's lots of things for the kids to do! Arts and crafts, playgrounds, and picnic areas; not to mention, the food is fantastic!

Home of OSU's Pistol Pete! If you're an OSU fan, football games are always a great day trip. But if you have small children, the Wondertorium is a great way to spend the afternoon. Don't forget to stop at Eskimo Joe's for lunch or dinner!
